"When you've got nothing,
you've got nothing to lose"

Born and raised on the eastcoast, DAVEY SUICIDE's fearless lifestyle led him to pack his life into a van, leaving his friends, family and previous band behind in the fall of 07. He drove cross-country to LA without a home or a job awaiting him upon his arrival. Shortly after coming to LA, Davey met Derik Envy through a mutual friend and the two began writing songs together. They soon became roommates and continued creating songs that would end up comprising the early Trauma Deville demos.

Through the guidance of mentor, Mitch Allan, Davey realized they needed an innovative lead guitarist to round out the sound. Entering, Josh Devine. Devine was so eager to be in the band that he YouTubed himself playing guitar leads to the early demos which landed him an audition and a slot in the band.

In February 09, Davey met with producer Tomas Costanza who got the vision of the band and lobbied to do the record. Upon agreeing, Costanza took the guys on an extensive 5 week pre-production binge that lead to the eventual tracking of the album in March 09. Bill Appleberry signed up to mix the album in between producing The Used and Stone Temple Pilots new albums. With a strong team in place, Mike Laser was brought in to master the album and put the finishing touches on this "in your face rock opera."

The Album, INDEPENDENCE DAY was released onSEPTEMBER 11th and Trauma just completed the Killers Never Die Tour which spanned over 60 cities throughout the United States over 3 and a half months. 2010 has arrived and the band is slated to hit the road again in the spring!
